Can anyone on this forum shed some light on the general poker scene in Goa. If I were to plan a 2-3 days visit (maybe a weekend getway), can I just show up in Goa anytime and count on finding a game that runs thru the whole day/night? If yes, please share the game/casino details and what's the closest place to stay. Primary purpose being Poker and not touristy things - any place that gives max flexibility to catch a game without being heavy on pocket! If there is such a game - maybe can just go flight to flight without hotel - but dont want to end up reaching and getting stuck finding no action!

Raj, if you are really keen then we have arrangements with a casino in Goa which will not charge IPRT members any entry fees. They have table games and you can play what they have. We have to inform them in advance and any IPRT member you will be well facilitated.

Sounds great, Jim.. Can you send more info on these games?

    1. What are the limits /buyin?
    2. How much is the rake? is it hourly or from every pot? and how much?
    3. Do all these places have ATM's etc? or Do I have to carry a wadd of money?
    4. I am assuming cashout is all in cash and if I have a win, I'll have to carry back wadd too??
